Say wat u must but nothing sucks more than an unhappy ending to a tale of romance. But i do suppose it is an exception with this one for "one could not be a wife and a writer" in those days. Should she had chosen not to be wat she had became, there would be no Becoming Jane...

Yup, it's abt how Jane Austen became the infamous writer Jane Austen, n yup, it's the beautiful Anne Hathaway.
Sorry for the blurry picture. But the dvd was damn good considering tat it costed me a mere rm2.30 ;-P

M so haunted by the sad ending the whole day - still m...
Personally, i kinda hoped she choose the good Wisley i/o the wild young LeFroy...n she would hav had had LeFroy not came barging into her life again after breaking her heart so.
But as the review puts it "Jane meets a famous female author who reveals her struggle in meeting the expectations of being a wife and lady of the time period, and being true to herself as an author. This may have been Jane’s discovery which brought her to lead her life independently of marriage. "
If only life is always a fairy tale n tat u could hav both love n passion/career, sigh.

mmm.. watched it but didn't really like it.. the movie didn't leave me a feel-good feeling about anythin. It is still a worthy watch though..
